Reduces stress and anxiety

Reduces pain and discomfort

What Do We Do During An Ecotherapy Session?

Walk-and-Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy is a unique approach to counseling where we conduct our sessions while walking outdoors in natural settings like parks or trails. It’s a refreshing change from traditional therapy settings, offering you the chance to connect with nature, breathe in fresh air, and experience the calming effects of being outdoors while we talk. It’s a relaxed and informal way to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and many clients find it more comfortable and freeing than sitting indoors. If you’re someone who enjoys being active or finds it easier to open up while on the move, walk and talk therapy might be the perfect fit for you.

Sit Spot Exercise

A sit spot is a designated outdoor space where you sit quietly and mindfully to connect with nature and yourself. It’s a place where you can take a break from the busyness of life, listen to the sounds of nature, and simply be present in the moment. By tuning into the sights, sounds, and sensations of nature, you can cultivate a sense of calm and inner peace and promote mental, emotional, and physical healing. Sit spot exercises are powerful tools in ecotherapy, offering opportunities for self-reflection, relaxation, and connection with the earth.
