Dr. Jamie Freda
I understand what it’s like to battle with your brain. To be mentally paralyzed, endlessly doom scrolling, all the while arguing with yourself to get up, and yet remaining glued in place. Juggling the endless to-do lists filled with things you need, want, and aspire to do, can feel overwhelming, and burnout is always lurking around the corner. It’s exhausting!
What makes me different from other therapists is my personal and professional understanding of ADHD. I don’t just treat it – I live with it. As an adult ADHD’er, I’ve learned over the years to develop skills and systems to help manage the daily demands of being a wife, mother, and professional.
With over 13 years of clinical experience, my goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and empowered. Whether you need help setting goals to boost productivity and motivation, are ready to explore and analyze patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, or just need someone to talk to without delving too deeply, I got you! I’ll meet you where you are and hold space for you in whatever capacity you need.
Using a neuroaffirming, strength-based, solution-focused approach, I integrate elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic therapy, and mindfulness approaches. You can expect a blend of empathy, practical strategies, homework, and a dash of humor to lighten the load.
Together, we’ll turn today’s challenges into tomorrow’s victories, tapping into your strengths and helping you navigate life with greater confidence and ease.
