Dr. Jamie Freda

I know what it's like to battle with your brain.
- To feel stuck while your to-do list piles up.
- To spend hours doom-scrolling while arguing with yourself to get up.
- To push through exhaustion because stopping isn't an option.
- To forget an important task the second you walk into another room.
- To feel paralyzed by choices, even with something as simple as picking what to eat.
- To have bursts of energy and motivation, only to crash and feel like you’re back at square one.
It’s frustrating, overwhelming, and downright exhausting.
What makes me different from other therapists?
I don’t just treat ADHD, I live with it. As an ADHD’er, I understand the constant juggling act of managing responsibilities while trying to stay motivated and avoid burnout. Over the years, I’ve developed strategies that actually work for my brain, and I help my clients do the same. No forcing yourself into rigid systems that weren’t designed for you. Together, we’ll create ones that fit your life.
I work with neurodivergent adults who have spent years wondering why things that seem easy for others feel impossible for them, questioning if they’re lazy or just not living up to their potential. My approach is neuroaffirming, strength-based, and solution-focused, blending cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic therapy, and mindfulness. That means practical strategies, external supports (like body doubling, visual reminders, and timers), and a dash of humor to make the process a little easier.

Whether you need help building motivation, managing executive dysfunction, or breaking free from self-doubt, I’m here to help. Let’s create a plan that works with your brain, not against it, so you can move through life with more confidence and ease.

- Explore your strengths and challenges with ADHD testing.
- Dive deeper into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with uniquely trailered therapy sessions.
- Break free and step into nature with outdoor ecotherapy sessions.
- Or, if you’d prefer to find a supportive tribe of neurodivergent peers, join one of my ADHD therapy groups.
Mobile Curbside Support
Because I understanding how a neurodivergent brain can complicate time management, organization, and procrastination, I offer convenient virtual sessions and mobile curbside services. This flexibility removes the hassle of travel and lets you access support on your terms, making it easier to fit self-care into your schedule and address these symptoms effectively.
